Higher Intention Productions is taking on what Hollywood couldn’t do. The Spike Lee biopic about the godfather of soul has been in pre-production for years lacking a firm casting choice. Higher Intention Productions is producing a short film called “I Got Soul”. The film focuses on the historic recording sessions that produced “Sex Machine” and “Super Bad”. Where a young 18 year old bass player named Bootsy Collins starts to record with superstar entertainer James Brown. “Our Intention with this film is to take it to the Cannes Film Festival.”
